Dr. Cooperman is a graduate of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at The City College of New York and The State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut, an affiliate of the Yale University School of Medicine and New York Medical College, and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. He has been the medical director of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls since 2005. He is also the section chief of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Monmouth Medical Center and is a clinical assistant professor of medicine in the Department of Medicine, Drexel University College of Medicine. He received the 2007 HealthSouth Medical Leadership award and the 2011 HealthSouth Medical Director of the Year Award. He has been selected as a 2012 New Jersey Monthly Jersey Choice Top Doctor.
